Schulich Leaders Scholarship
What are Schulich Leader Scholarships?
Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships.
Up to one hundred are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $100,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $80,000* for science and math scholarships.
Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship.
Fulton nominee selection process
- Completed the Fulton specific nomination application form
all applicants must complete this application to be considered - Submit your application form to your school counsellor or the principal
- Fulton Scholarship Committee meets to select our nominee
Fulton Secondary nominee application deadline: January 15, 2027
Actual Schulich nominee submission deadline February 17, 2027
Student eligibility criteria:
- Graduate high school in the 2026/2027 academic year
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Plan to enroll in an eligible STEM program at one of our partner universities
- Meet the following criteria:
- Academic excellence, AND
- Leadership, charisma and creativity.
- Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.

Be entrepreneurial-minded and intend to pursue a career in one or more of the following focus areas:
- A. Technology;
- B. Engineering;
- C. Entrepreneurship and business enterprise;
- D. Applied scientific research.
The Schulich Foundation is NOT considering students who:
- Focus on activism (environmental/political/societal)
- Intend to become a practising physician and/or medical researcher (e.g. Doctor, Dentist, Nurse, Psychologist, Pharmacist, Optometrist, etc.)
Intend to become a Professor and conduct theoretical research
Cmolik Scholarship
The Foundation provides $40,000 (for tuition, books, and living expenses) leading to an undergraduate degree to deserving students currently attending school in BC.
Criteria: students who have faced financial challenges, overcome adversity, and yet have contributed positively to either their school or community.
Fulton will be able to nominate one student for the opportunity to apply for this year’s Cmolik Scholarship.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a TCF Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a current resident of BC
- Have lived in Canada for at least 7 years,
- Be in Grade 12 or a recent secondary school graduate,
- Have demonstrated financial need,
- Have faced adversity,
- Plan to be a full-time student,
- Be ineligible for the BC Tuition Waiver Program (for former youth in care),
- Use funding for a post-secondary institution, trade or college, and
- Be endorsed by their school principal.
In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements, student applications will be adjudicated by a selection committee that will consider the student’s proven resilience in the face of adversity, their positive work ethic, their academic suitability, their contributions to their community, the clarity of their educational goals, their focused commitment, their fit with the organization, and the support of their references.
Nomination Process
Step 1:
a.) Fill out one of our CMOLIK-School-Based Scholarship Nomination form. Submit nomination form to a school counsellor via no later than January 8th. alternate version
b.) The nominated student will be notified on January 19th Ms. Yurkowski will provide the Clarence Fulton nomination letter soon after.
Step 2:
c.) Formally request your referees to write a reference letter in support of our application (the deadline to collect these reference February 1st.
Step 3:
a.) The nominated student from Fulton will receive a nomination letter from Ms. Yurkowski and they can then proceed to fill out the online application. (Deadline Feb 7th)
Beedie Luminaries Scholarship
BLF scholarship provides access to BC public universities, colleges and trade schools and enables promising Grade 12 BC students to achieve their dreams.
- 140 scholarships offered in 2026-27
- $44,000 per student / 4-year undergraduate degree
- $22,000 per student / 2-year college diploma/certificate or trade-school foundation programs
- “Stay on Track” student support
- Peer support groups
- Access to mentors
- Summer paid internship opportunities

Loran Scholars Foundation Scholarship
Recognizing that academic performance is not the only indicator of future value to the community, a group of dedicated volunteers set out to find and support young Canadians who demonstrate character, service and leadership potential.
The Loran Award is not a reward for past achievements, but an investment in a young person’s potential future path of high impact. Our scholars pursue careers in a wide range of areas, readily take on greater responsibilities, and share a lifelong commitment to leading with integrity.
Offered in full partnership with 25 Canadian universities, a Loran Award is valued at approximately $100,000 over four years of undergraduate study.
Eligibility Criteria for High School Students:
- Be entering university for the first time in September 2027.
- Present a minimum cumulative average of 88%.
- Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.

Wanjara Nomad Collections offering 5 scholarships
Wanjara Nomad Collections has compiled an extensive collection of historical artifacts to preserve and share the history of Sikhs. This includes exploring how Sikhs perceive their past, present, and future.
As part of its efforts, Wanjara Nomad Collections is offering five scholarships worth $1,300 each to support post-secondary education for grade 12 students in British Columbia who will be attending a post-secondary institution in September 2023. These scholarships are open to all students, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or citizenship status.
