November Session for Literacy and Numeracy Assessments Cancelled

<p>Dear students and families of Grade 10 and Grade 12,</p><p>We have been informed by the ministry that due to BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU) strike action in the BC Public Service, the Graduation Assessment Session for November 3-7, 2025 will be cancelled for all grade 10 and 12 assessments. The next available session will be held in January.&nbsp;</p><p>Fulton will be running the Numeracy Assessments on the double block days of January 15th&nbsp;and 16th.</p><p>The Literacy Assessments will be held on the double block days of January 21st&nbsp;and 22nd.</p><p>These will be held during the student's English and Math blocks accordingly.&nbsp; If there happens to be a conflict or the student isn't able to write at their assigned time, please connect with the teacher or admin to reschedule to another day during the assessment session in January.</p><p>Thank you</p>

<h3><strong>School District 22 to Host Information Session for Prospective Trustee Candidates<o:p></o:p></strong></h3><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Vernon, BC</strong> — School District No. 22 (Vernon) is inviting community members interested in serving as a School Board Trustee to attend an upcoming information session ahead of the October 2026 Trustee elections.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">The session will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the School District 22 Board Office (1401 15<sup>th</sup> Street, Vernon).<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">This session will support individuals who are considering running for a Trustee position by providing a clear overview of the role and responsibilities of elected Board members.
