What Happens Upstream Youth Conference - kʷu ʔasəlʔ aʔspuʔús
What: The Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) Youth Leadership Council (YLC) and the What Happens Upstream (WHU) Planning Committee is excited to present the 3rd Annual What Happens Upstream Youth conference. This year we are focusing on “Good Conflict.” The name of our conference: kʷu ʔasəlʔ aʔspuʔús meaning we are of two different hearts. This is to acknowledge that we may not always agree but can work together towards a solution.
When: October 19, 9:00am to 2:30pm
Where: Vernon Performing Arts Centre
Who: Youth ages 14+
