National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Gathering at NOFCS, September 30th
- What: Truth & Reconciliation Community Gathering: Reconciliation in Action
- When: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 pm
- Where: North Okanagan Friendship Center Society at 2904 29 Avenue, Vernon
This free community gathering will bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members together to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and continue building relationships through truth, learning, and reconciliation. Everyone is welcome!
The day will include ceremony and drumming, a smudge station, guest speakers, a free community lunch, and opportunities to learn, reflect and connect.
